Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from Flavia Nasser, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Who We Are

Flavia Nasser is a Brazilian company specializing in handcrafted, personalized photo products — Pocket Books, Table Books, Scrapbooks, and Photo Prints. All products are produced in Brazil and shipped worldwide.

2. Orders & Payment

2.1 Order Acceptance

An order is confirmed only after full payment is received. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

2.2 Payment Methods

We accept major international credit and debit cards via Stripe and PayPal. Payment is charged in full at checkout in USD. All transactions are encrypted and processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways.

2.3 Advance Payment Requirement

In accordance with the recommendations of our international trade advisors, all orders require full payment in advance. Because each product is custom-made using your personal photos, the item cannot be resold or reused in the event of cancellation. Production begins only after payment is confirmed.

2.4 Currency

All prices are listed and charged in USD (US dollars). Currency conversion, if applicable, is handled by your bank or card provider.

3. Products & Customization

All Flavia Nasser products are made-to-order and fully personalized. Once a layout has been approved by the customer, the product specification is final.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Submitting photos within 180 days of purchase
  • Reviewing the layout preview carefully before approving
  • Ensuring all submitted content (photos, text, names) is owned by or licensed to the customer

We reserve the right to decline to produce any content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on third-party rights.

4. Production Timeline

Production timelines begin after photo submission is complete and the layout preview has been approved:

  • Layout preview delivery: within 5 business days of photo receipt
  • Production: 10 to 15 business days after approval, depending on product type

Timelines are business day estimates and do not include shipping time. Flavia Nasser is not liable for delays caused by late photo submission, delayed approval, or force majeure events.

5. Shipping

5.1 Carriers & Delivery

International orders are shipped via DHL Express or FedEx. Estimated shipping times after dispatch range from 1 to 11 business days depending on service and destination. A tracking number is provided for every shipment.

5.2 Shipping Terms — Incoterm DAP

All international shipments are made under Incoterm DAP (Delivered at Place). Under DAP, Flavia Nasser handles and pays for delivery to the agreed destination address. Customs clearance formalities upon arrival in the buyer's country, and any associated costs, are the buyer's responsibility.

5.3 Responsibility for Taxes, Duties, and Customs Clearance in the Country of Destination

The following clauses apply to all international orders, in accordance with Incoterms 2020 (International Chamber of Commerce):

The BUYER acknowledges and agrees that any taxes, levies, or duties applicable in the country of destination of the goods — including, but not limited to, Import Duties, Value Added Tax (VAT), customs fees, clearance charges, administrative costs, or any other expenses imposed by local customs authorities — shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the BUYER.

The SELLER shall not be held liable for any delays, additional costs, or customs retention resulting from the non-payment of such charges or from the BUYER's failure to comply with the regulations in force in the country of destination. It is the BUYER's responsibility to consult the competent local authorities, prior to the execution of this contract, regarding the existence and nature of any such obligations.

The BUYER agrees to hold the SELLER harmless from any administrative, fiscal, financial, or legal liability arising from taxes or requirements imposed in the country of destination, including situations where such charges result in the refusal to receive the goods or in their return.

5.4 Customs Retention

If a shipment is held by customs in the destination country, Flavia Nasser will provide available export documentation (such as a commercial invoice or packing list) to assist with clearance. We are not responsible for delays, costs, or loss resulting from customs actions outside Brazil.

5.5 Refused or Returned Shipments

If a shipment is refused by the customer at delivery or returned due to unpaid customs duties, Flavia Nasser is not obligated to refund the product or original shipping cost. Any return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.

6. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

6.1 Non-Returnable Products

Because all products are custom-made using customer-provided photos and personalization choices, we do not accept returns for change of mind. This is consistent with standard practice for personalized goods under international consumer protection frameworks.

6.2 Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect or transit damage, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@flavianasser.com with your order number and photographic evidence. We will review your case and, at our discretion, offer a replacement or full refund.

6.3 Lost Shipments

If a shipment is confirmed as lost by the carrier, we will arrange a replacement or refund. Please allow the carrier's standard investigation period before a final determination is made.

7. Intellectual Property

By submitting photos and other content, the customer confirms they own or have the right to use that content, and grants Flavia Nasser a limited license to use it solely for production of the ordered product.

Flavia Nasser retains all rights over its designs, templates, branding, and website content. No part of our product designs may be reproduced commercially without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Flavia Nasser's liability is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Delays caused by customs authorities or carrier operations
  • Photo quality issues where the customer approved the layout containing those photos
  • Loss or damage caused by incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Brazilian courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the customer's country of residence.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to your order.

SMS Communications

By providing your phone number to Flávia Nasser through any of our forms (SMS signup, customer support, or checkout), you consent to receive SMS messages from us related to your orders and customer support.

  • Message frequency varies based on your order activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply (charged by your mobile carrier).
  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe.
